I am passionate about health and wellness and helping others find natural ways to support their body, mind and spirit. I have been teaching Reiki and alternative wellness for the past 17 years and have been able to share these gifts with thousands of students. We are opening the minds and hearts of our students to the ever increasing scientific knowledge that ‘energy is non-local’, and as such can reach anybody, for attunements or healing, from anywhere in the world through thought and intention, just like prayer (which is scientifically proven). Indeed with evolving technology, other modalities including medicine are moving toward the use of new technology to reach a broader population than was thought previously possible, for example, through the new 'Telemedicine' and also Online Integrative Medicine studies as provided to medical doctors through the University of Arizona. The Canadian Government has also been engaged in creating a digital health infrastructure as seen through www.betterhealthtogether.ca.
Offering an online course allowed me to learn at my own pace. The materials and videos compliment the course and serve as wonderful additions to help tie the material together. Stage 3 This stage is all about becoming familiar with the new symbols that we cover on the Master course. Firstly you will receive a distant Master attunement. Then you will learn to become familiar with the characteristic energies of the two ‘Master’ symbols, and some other symbols, and you will learn how to use the symbols in practice. Finally you will learn how you can, with time, move beyond the symbols to access their energies direct. It will take about 10 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 10 days.
Reiki allows us to remember and return home to Universal love, light and pure joy! I use Reiki everyday in all areas of my life - I have experienced the magic which this healing system can manifest - it is my privilege to be able to share this with you! I like to teach with an approachable and clear style with plenty of lightness and laughter too. As we grow up, we find ourselves more and more exposed to temptations, greed, anger, jealousy and other negativities. Unconsciously, our parents teach us not to listen to our bodies, by forcing us to eat/ do things that we do not want to. All these have a damaging effect on the endless flow of energy that we receive from the universe - it blocks the path.
We include a range of original and non-original symbols on the course, though we don’t want overemphasise the use of symbols, because we believe that they have assumed an unnecessary importance within the world of Western Reiki. The symbols that you learn on the Master course allow you to send Reiki to heal at the soul level, produce balance in an instant, deal with aspects of karma, and focus energy intensely on the mind or the emotions. During the Master course you will be ‘attuned’ to these symbols:
Is an initiation to enable you to access the Reiki energy on all levels (mental, physical, emotional and psychically) and balances many important energy channels within your spiritual body. The Reiki Master will channel through your aura/spiritual body the Reiki Energy. This process will enable you to access Pure Universal Energy, and the dormant Reiki part that already exists inside yourself will be activated. Now you will be able to use this energy for healing purposes and much more.
Reiki training can be quite emotional and intense, that is why all my Reiki training is conducted in small groups or 'one-on-one'. Also, as my student I guarantee your comfort and well-being. I will always be there for you if you need me. I carry out debriefings and follow-up meetings and/or online conferences with all my students as part of the training package.
There is one point I cannot stress enough: you will be a healer for yourself, however you will be a 'tool giver' or a 'facilitator' for others. What I mean by that is that people heal themselves with the energy they receive and you are the person that makes that achievable for them. You show them the way to heal, and by giving the Reiki energy and supplying them with the Life Force Energy they then use it to heal themselves.
Melissa is so passionate about her Reiki craft and it shows very clearly in every aspect of this online course. The videos are excellent and so well presented. The Western-style attunement process is not the only way to convey the Reiki ability to students. The Reiki Evolution Master Teacher course also includes training in the ‘Reiju’ empowerment process that has been passed to us by Usui Sensei’s surviving students. Reiju empowerments represent a wonderful, simple, elegant, powerful and inspiring method that can be used as alternatives to the Western-style attunements at all levels. We also consider the use of distant attunements and empowerments, explore different methods that can be used to empower the self, and students will practise these variations as part of their training with us.
