If you have come from other lineages and have not been trained in the important techniques that have come from Japan, I would expect you to learn Japanese Reiki techniques before going on to do Mastership with ReikiEvolution. The new teachings are so important to the future development of Reiki in the West. One way to achieve this would be for you to redo your First and Second Degree training with us, so you are ‘in tune’ with the way we do things, but that can start to get expensive, so we achieve this by way of a self-study ‘conversion course’ based on sending you downloads of our Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 course manuals and Audio CDs – as PDFs and MP3s – together with ‘homework’ instructions for you to carry out. You can order printed versions of these manuals and CDs if you wish.
Becoming a Reiki Master is a serious step that must be preceded by necessary preparation. One must first take Reiki I&II and Advanced Reiki training. It is also necessary to meditate on your life purpose and decide if Reiki Mastership is in harmony with it. Then, it is important to find a Reiki Master to study with who is competent and who you feel attuned to and will support you after you become a Reiki Master.
Reiki is a healing art. You will be able to affect change in your own energy field as well as that of others. It is important to have a teacher present with the student during learning to identify such things as proper hand placement and make corrections as needed. It is also helpful for students to practice with each other in the presence of a teacher so that they can ask questions about what they are experiencing and feeling.
We include a range of original and non-original symbols on the course, though we don’t want overemphasise the use of symbols, because we believe that they have assumed an unnecessary importance within the world of western Reiki. The symbols that you learn on the Master course allow you to send Reiki to heal at the soul level, produce balance in an instant, deal with aspects of karma, and focus energy intensely on the mind or the emotions. Stage 3 This stage is all about becoming familiar with the new symbols that we cover on the Master course. Firstly you will receive a distant Master attunement. Then you will learn to become familiar with the characteristic energies of the two ‘Master’ symbols, and some other symbols, and you will learn how to use the symbols in practice. Finally you will learn how you can, with time, move beyond the symbols to access their energies direct. It will take about 10 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 10 days.
I absolutely LOVED this Reiki course, in particular Melissa’s passion and clear love of what she does. I found all of the information clear and easy to understand and really enjoyed the self exploration and the encouragement to go within as part of the journey. It has reignited a long ago held passion and I now have the confidence to move forward and spread a little more Reiki love in the world! 🙂

The Reiki I, II, III ART & III Teacher Qualification Course: Is designed to help you become a certified Reiki teacher. What stands out about this course is the amount of material you get, which is spread out over 50 parts. This is a complete course that takes one from beginner to master. Students spoke highly of instructor, Rosemary Owen, who teaches in a peaceful manner, although some noted her voice may have been too low a volume. Overall, a good, comprehensive course on this therapy.
Mastership allows you to pass the Reiki ability to others, and you will be using the course manual (with step-by-step instructions, digital images, drawings and summaries), the Audio CDs and the DVD to make the process as straightforward as possible. You will practice the Reiki attunement process in advance of the course and on the day of the course itself you will demonstrate your knowledge in different ways and receive practical guidance and pointers to make sure you are comfortable with the stages involved.
The heights of experience you gain by moving on to the next level which is Reiki level 2 includes a more in-depth experience with the ki which furthers your spiritual development and your self-healing practice, as the Reiki symbols will be taught to you. In this level, the knowledge that will help you to give others(whether in person or distant) the Reiki treatment will be explained to you. It is generally advised that you wait a couple of months from your first level attunement before you move into the second.
the practice of Reiki, the third level is often broken down into two or sometimes three distinct parts. I choose to teach Master level in two stages, Reiki 3a (Master Reiki Practitioner) and Reiki 3b (Master Reiki Teacher). The beauty of this is not everyone feels their life purpose is to teach Reiki, but they would like to have an even greater understanding of the Reiki system and learn the skills available in Reiki 3a.

Original Japanese Reiki is a very free and fluid system, free from the dogma and rules that infest Western-style Reiki training. An important part of the Master Teacher level is to full open to your intuitive powers and to explore the power of intent. You”ll learn how to allow the energy to guide you and provide you with all the insights you need to help people in the most powerful way.
After attunement, the Master will adjust your frequency to the healing frequency. After a few months, it might get out of sync, and you might not feel ok again. At this point, you will be able to ask the Reiki Master to lock your frequency in your aura forever, and this process is done using the Secret Symbols, that have been re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in March 1922. These symbols have been secretly passed along to the most devoted Reiki practitioners since then, and some teachers even charged $10,000.
There three levels in reiki namely level 1, level 2 and the final level which gives you the status of a Reiki master which is level 3. Keeping in mind our hectic and busy lifestyle it might not always be possible for everyone to attend Reiki Healing Training personally, but we live in a day and age where technology and internet make a lot of things very easy for us.

The process of ‘attunement’ or initiation is what sets Reiki apart from other modalities of healing. Other forms of healing can be done intuitively or by someone who is ‘gifted’. This is not the case with Reiki; it can be learned by anyone. The attunement process enables all students who go through learning and initiation into Reiki to practice and give healing if they wish to. However, some students simply wish to take the learning and attunements for themselves and their own spiritual growth.
