Elizabeth's Reiki and Metamorphic Technique courses have been accredited by IPTI (Independent Professional Therapists International) which means that on completion of the training you can be insured through IPTI as a practitioner, Master Practitioner or Master teacher. She is also a teacher member of The UK Reiki Federation and registered with the International Centre for Reiki Training (ICRT) and Master Teacher for the Diana Cooper Foundation.
When there are financial limitations, the advantages of a one-time investment in learning to practice Reiki self-care over paying for repeated sessions are obvious. When there is illness in a family and it is no longer feasible for the patient to self-treat, one or more family members can learn First degree (hands-on) Reiki and treat the patient (and other family members) as well as themselves.
Once you have received a Reiki attunement, you will have Reiki for the remainder of your life. It does not wear off and you can never lose it. While one attunement is all you need for each level to be attuned to that level, additional attunements bring benefit. Experimentation has found that additional attunements of the same level add to the value of that level. I really enjoyed this course, it was set out in a great format that is easy to follow and track your progress. Melissa has an easiness to her teaching style and it all felt natural and simple. Home study, or distance learning as it applies to Reiki has long been misunderstood due to the confusion around the Reiki ‘attunements’. Reiki attunements are what activate Reiki to flow in your system and this does require a real live Reiki Master to carry out the attunement. However, it does not have to be done face to face.
