I loved Master Melissa’s Reiki Master course. Having done the Basic Reiki and then Reiki II in person at weekend workshops some years ago, I had realized that I had missing information, sometimes there is a lot to take in. It was when I decided to do my Reiki Master Certification that I wanted to be able to take my time, fill in the gaps and take in more information, breath the energy, after all I see my responsibility of working with healing energy to be delivered in a way that as a practitioner I have the knowledge and opportunity to not only have a Master that is coming from a space of love and compassion but who can also deliver the true theme of Reiki and its history and its attunements, this course had this and more, I loved the added crystal and animal chakra information, journeying through this Reiki Master course also gave me the opportunity to grow into the Master Reiki, universal life force Practitioner I dreamed I am to be. With this course I was able to spend time with the symbols, fine tune and observe the energy and my hands and the positions, listen to my intuition and practice letting go of the intention, so as not to drain my own energy or let my force try to direct. I learned also how to refresh myself, cut the connections and give myself some time, self healing and clearing and scanning great tool, these are so much more within me and understood now,I was aware of the spiritual detox and able to look after myself and let it happen, clean away the cobwebs and debris that were hindering my growth. Activation of Reiki within a persons hands is made possible by a simple process called an "attunement". The attunement or empowerment is performed by a Reiki Master during a workshop. It is the attunement which allows the person to tap into and channel the Reiki energy. It cannot be learned from books or just being talked about. Without the attunement you may direct healing energy, but it will not be Reiki energy.
The first three levels of Reiki can be taken for certificates and the status of Reiki Master/Teacher. Should the student wish to receive their Registered Integrative Therapist designation, they must then complete the more extensive trainings. Should they already be a Reiki practitioner or teacher and wish to receive their R.I.N. designation, some exemptions can be provided to gain advanced standing in our program.

The pre-course material was excellent. I know I will be working through much of it for years to come. I loved the way it was presented with student comments about each section. If ever I am led to teach commercially I know I will be so grateful for that tremendous back up and support. The CDs were great and I went to bed playing them every night in the hope it would filter through my consciousness while I slept. The DVD brought the words to life and were really helpful as I could practice with them.

In the end, we must consider that a Reiki Master is not one who has mastered Reiki, but one who has been mastered by Reiki. As we proceed toward the end of the millinium, the Way of Reiki offers itself as a solution to our problems and a path of unlimited potiential. Find out how long the class is; ask for an outline of what you will be taught and the cost. In a first degree Reiki class you should be taught a sequence of hand positions for treating yourself and other people, and given time to practise these in the class. You may also be taught about treating animals and plants. You will be usually told the history and principles of Reiki and there will be opportunities for you to ask questions.

We will practice working intuitively in a number of different ways and introduce a method where we can directly perceive someone’s energy system, and we also explore some “mind’s eye” visual shortcuts. Again, students will practise various intuitive exercises on their group of friends and relatives, gaining facility through repetition.
Our tutor was an inspiration. I feel so completely blessed to have met her and been taught by her. Her knowledge is so vast, once you experience a number of her courses you will be truly amazed by the detail of her knowledge in so many areas. What I love about her is that she is able to be extremely concise about the subject she is teaching and you come away from a course really understanding that subject area because it's been taught in such a simple yet complete way.
The Reiki attunement can start a cleansing process that affects the physical body as well as the mind and emotions. Toxins that have been stored in the body may be released along with feelings and thought patterns that are no longer useful. We are opening the minds and hearts of our students to the ever increasing scientific knowledge that ‘energy is non-local’, and as such can reach anybody, for attunements or healing, from anywhere in the world through thought and intention, just like prayer (which is scientifically proven). Indeed with evolving technology, other modalities including medicine are moving toward the use of new technology to reach a broader population than was thought previously possible, for example, through the new 'Telemedicine' and also Online Integrative Medicine studies as provided to medical doctors through the University of Arizona. As interest in the courses grew it quickly became clear that Marion was not going to be able to meet the demand in a way that suited her.
