“I am a trained trainer so am always professionally interested in the content, presentation and documentation of other people’s courses. I rate this one as superb in every way. Your manuals, CDs and DVD are excellent training materials in my view. Not only did I find them informative but also the way in which they were presented was designed to hold one’s attention. You made learning easy.”Mary-Jean Wood, France
When teaching Reiki to others, it is important to set a good example by being an authentic representative of Reiki energy. People cannot be so easily fooled by surface spirituality now. They want and need a real teacher who comes from experience and is working on her/his own deep healing. This requires one to meditate on the nature of Reiki energy and surrender to it. It is a continual process of working with all aspects of ones being that are out of step with Reiki energy and allowing those aspects to be healed by Reiki energy. We must seek to develop and express the qualities of love, compassion, wisdom, justice, cooperation, humility, persistence, kindness, courage, strength, and abundance as Reiki energy is all of these and more. It may seem paradoxical, but it is true that a true Reiki Master is one who is always becoming a Reiki Master. Like life itself, it is a process of continual growth.
“In three years of being a Reiki practitioner I had developed the use of “intent and intuition” to a degree but realized that my abilities were a long way off the standards that I later achieved during the course. My confidence increased daily as did the energy, and my loyal friends and clients who participated in my trials (“freestyle practice”) were extremely impressed as well as surprised. Although we were ‘in awe’ and a little apprehensive at the power of the energy we also had fun as we explored its possibilities.” Carol Gunn, Hampshire
We spend some time working with Intent, and go through various exercises that help to ‘open our eyes’ to the simplicity and power of Reiki, and the importance and versatility of intent in terms of directing the energy and experiencing different energies. To gain the most out of this course, the student will need to have to hand a group of friends and relatives that they can use a ‘guinea pigs’ to practise things on as they work through the various stages of their course. The course is mainly practical, you see: Reiki is a practical, hands-on activity, not just about book learning.
Reiki level 3a Master Practitioner, deepens our understanding of the second level symbology and further enhances our Reiki practice by offering us new tools and methods. I enjoy layering my teaching so that at each level a new insight into why we do things a certain way opens up for us. In level 3a, we start to bring the whole system together and gain understanding as to why certain mudras, mantras and symbols are part of the Reiki system. Further to this we are shown the Reiki master symbol and given it’s uses in the practice of Reiki. The master 3a level completes your Reiki training and will give you all the tools and confidence you need to facilitate a Reiki healing practice.
Think of yourself as a hollow pipe left in the river. As long as the water fills up the insides of the pipe, you are healthy and happy. Negativities, like dirt and grime, settle layer upon layer inside the pipe, slowly reducing the flow of water and eventually clogging it up completely. When this happens to your channel of energy, you find it difficult to be what you were always meant to be - healthy.
“Lisa is a wonderful instructor. The Reiki course she has created is nothing short of life-changing. Her energy is soothing and friendly, and the way she teaches each lesson is very easy to digest, and unintimidating. My life is greatly improved since taking this course, and I can't recommend enough, that you give it a try too. I am so excited about my new life with Reiki. Thanks Lisa!”
“What we have tried to do is to provide our students with a ‘learning smorgasbord’, where they can use the material or medium that best suits their particular learning style: we have text, we have images, we have summaries and flow-charts and diagrams and even puzzles, we have audio commentary and instructions and we have video sequences. By using these different media in combination with each other, and by having students carry out extensive practical exercises over many weeks, learning and understanding is enhanced.”
As time went by, Mrs. Takata contemplated the need to train other Reiki Masters. She realized that the Japanese concept of respect might be difficult to instill in the Western mind. Because Reiki Mastership is so easily learned, being simply passed on during the Reiki Master attunement, she felt that Westerners might not value it. So she devised a plan of charging a large sum of money for those wanting to become Reiki Masters. She felt that money was something that Western people understood and respected and this would help create the appreciation and gratitude for Reiki that was needed. She decided that $10,000 would be a large enough sum to instill the respect needed for the Reiki Master attunement. She also set the fees for Reiki I at $175 and Reiki II at $500. These high fees have continued to be charged by some Reiki Masters, but many are now considering a lower fee structure that makes it possible for anyone who feels guided to do so to become a Reiki Master.

“I am really pleased that I did the course. The course has exceeded my expectations, I feel that I have learnt some really fundamental things about energy work that give me confidence to apply the learning myself. I think some of the elements of the original methods – particularly Reiju empowerments, kotodama, and the concept of Earth energy and Heavenly energy are so beautiful and simple that they take my understanding of Reiki to a higher, more spiritual level – and I am quite an “earthly” person, so I didn’t expect that! Thank you.” Lucy Wilkinson, West Yorkshire
We celebrate all Reiki paths, as long as they are provided with the positive and loving intention needed to ensure quality education, encouragement and enduring support for the student.  We accept that the unique character of one program over another does not imply dishonour or lack of credibility, but fosters in us the greatest of understanding and awakens our heart of compassion. We will, in-terms of connecting to other agencies, be gaining membership with those whose views are similar to or accepting of our own.  Great success to everyone!
Preparing for professional practice: If you’re considering offering Reiki as a professional practitioner, it’s important to have lots of practice giving Reiki sessions (one of my former teachers said you should give at minimum 100 sessions before you even think about charging and working professionally!). The process of ‘attunement’ or initiation is what sets Reiki apart from other modalities of healing. Other forms of healing can be done intuitively or by someone who is ‘gifted’. This is not the case with Reiki; it can be learned by anyone. The attunement process enables all students who go through learning and initiation into Reiki to practice and give healing if they wish to. However, some students simply wish to take the learning and attunements for themselves and their own spiritual growth. This powerful course is split into parts Reiki 1 & Reiki 2 levels, it will give you all the tools you need to learn how to transfer this healing energy to help others, should you wish to do so and to use it in your own life too.
