Reiki level 3a Master Practitioner, deepens our understanding of the second level symbology and further enhances our Reiki practice by offering us new tools and methods. I enjoy layering my teaching so that at each level a new insight into why we do things a certain way opens up for us. In level 3a, we start to bring the whole system together and gain understanding as to why certain mudras, mantras and symbols are part of the Reiki system. Further to this we are shown the Reiki master symbol and given it’s uses in the practice of Reiki. The master 3a level completes your Reiki training and will give you all the tools and confidence you need to facilitate a Reiki healing practice.
Stage 5 This stage is all about learning to develop the Hara, an important part of the original system that Usui Sensei taught. We will use a specific meditation, or energy exercise, to achieve this, and the exercise will continue throughout the rest of the course and beyond. It will take about 10 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 14 days.
I have sincerely enjoyed this course and learnt a lifetime of new energies and how to use them in accordance to my daily living and way of helping people. The course was easy to read and understand with the time frame being self paced. The online tutorials made learning simple but enjoyable. I am using the knowledge i have learnt to help my family and friends and I am excited to start expanding further into the public at some stage in the future. Melissa has been a delight to have as my reiki master teacher.

In the past I have always allowed students to assist on my courses and I also ask students to organize Reiki Training courses in their area for small groups which I come and run with them as part of their training. This works really well and adds skills and confidence in marketing and organization which I have been able to help with from my many years of experience. It also serves to sow the seed for your own healing and teaching practice in your immediate area, which you can then develop and build upon. The attunement process used by the Center in all Reiki classes is a combination of the Usui system and a special Tibetan technique. It is thought that Reiki originated in Tibet, therefore, the use of the Tibetan technique and symbols creates a stronger connection with the origins of Reiki. The addition of the Tibetan attunement technique to the Usui system of attunements has greatly improved their quality. This unique attunement process was developed over time to be more powerful and to bring in a wider range of attunement energies than the original Usui system. In Reiki III the Usui/Tibetan method of giving attunements is taught along with the original Usui system of attunements.

I teach from two main Reiki lineages - the Western and Japanese teachings which both originate from Mikao Usui. Learning from two lineages - Usui Shiki Ryoho & Usui Reiki Ryoho will give you a broad, balanced and authentic view of the system of Reiki. The key to understanding Reiki is to experience and practically apply the energy. For this reason our Reiki 1 & Reiki 2 courses are taught over 2 days each (14 contact hours). Unlike shorter, 1 day Reiki courses or Reiki 1 & 2 weekends - this allows ample time for practice, questions and understanding Reiki theory, history & philosophy. This enables you to feel confident and empowered in using Reiki at every level.
2. Elaine will be in contact and confirm your attunement time, either at 9am or 5pm UK time over 2-4 days. During your designated time it is recommended you take time to sit and receive the attunement in a quiet place, you will only need to sit for 5 minutes for each attunement. There are four attunements in total spread over 2-4 days. Being awake or mindful is not necessary, it is just more fun!
Free distant Reiju empowerments each week anytime on a Monday. Every week you can ‘tune yourself in’ to a Reiju empowerment from Taggart, anytime on a Monday (and more than once if you like!). This will give your Reiki practice a real boost and echoes the way that Reiki was taught by Mikao Usui, with empowerments week-in week-out throughout your training.

Stage 6 This stage is all about seeing what is possible: pushing the barriers, moving beyond self-imposed limitations. You will start by receiving another Western Master attunement. Then we will carry out a number of exercises to see what is possible. We will also consider a range of non-Reiki techniques that have been added into Reiki over the years. It will take about 7 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 7 days.
By having on CDs the main things that are said to you on the day course, you are focused on the important themes of the course before you arrive for your two days of live training, and you can ‘take your course home with you’ to review once you have returned home, and during the following weeks and months after the course. You won’t forget what you were told on the course because it is all there for you in black and white in the manual, you can hear it on the audio CDs and watch it on the DVD at home!

Stage 4 This week is all about becoming familiar with Shinto mantras that predate the use of symbols within Reiki, mantras used by the majority of Usui Sensei’s students to experience the energies taught at Second Degree and Master levels. Firstly you will receive distant empowerments for each of the four energies. Then you will be chanting and meditating on the four kotodama energies. You will move on to compare their energies with the energies of the four corresponding Reiki symbols. Finally you will use them in practice when treating and when carrying out distant healing. It will take about 10 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 10 days.
This was a beautiful course. I took Reiki I in an in person class setting and decided to try Melissa’s course. I am a very visual learner and I was delighted when Melissa let me embrace my clairvoyance. This course is filled with information, her warm soft voice and her beautiful hand movements she uses during her Reiki sessions were soft, elegant, filled with love, and super inspiring. This course allows for and does that, its immediately evident that the intent off Melissa is that this is her goal and a very noble one. We have not finished our course yet but are well on the way to completing it. The teachings and attunements we have recieved have been used to great success on everybody including ourselves. You will not find a more helpful, honest, kind instructor and we are both blessed to have you as our instructor and will work hard on completing the course in the next two to 3 months. I recently lost my dad and my mum her husband to say we were close would be a massive understatement. Through the use of Reiki we were able to heal both his physical and mental pain, he had cancer and a massive abdominal wound and was not eating nor drinking fluids. Regardless of this we did reiki on him sometimes twice a day or more and even distance healing. The surgery team and doctors could not believe there own eyes with the rapid healing of his wounds. They even took photos to show other doctors, I can only hope that western medicine understands and accepts that Reiki is real and it works we are both not masters but using the techniques taught and loving energy and those above and the universe we made a difference and cannot thank Melissa enough for the gift she have us. During your Reiki home study training course you will read text, look at images and read summaries, you will listen to Taggart talking, be guided through energy exercises and watch demonstrations, and of course you will be in contact with us regularly and asking questions when you need to. In fact, I think that this home study course has some definite advantages for you when compared with a ‘live’ course: instead of having the time available to you limited by the length of a two day course, you can now work by yourself for a much longer period, and you will have the opportunity to spend a lot longer working with the various exercises. This is why Reiki home study is so effective: you have the opportunity to work with the energy for far, far longer than is possible on any live courses, and you receive the undivided attention of your teacher.
