The course is flexible, easy to follow, heaps of resources at hand and support is always at hand and it is self passed. You would spend more on a material item any day of the week such as tablets for pain or medicines and vitamins, yet this is a gift that keeps on giving and allows you to help people in physical and emotional pain and suffering and you can even help your animals and pets!
There are schools that teach parts 1 & 2 over 2 days or more but usually they have far more students and hence, larger classes. Gateway Workshops specialize in smaller classes, giving the benefit of individual and personal attention to students. You will also receive a detailed manual within the price of the course. Our Reiki and Seichem Course have been running very successfully for over 13 years with fantastic feedback.
It was nice when you explained that Reiki is a therapy wherein the energy is moved and the energetic systems are affected in order to promote the healing of a person. That seems like a harmless way to improve a person. I might ask my mom to give this a try since she has been suffering from the side effects of her surgery, and she doesn’t want to take meds. This is the best alternative to get her to feel better.
Therapy Training School is an approved training provider, and our training courses throughout the UK are recognised and accredited for insurance purposes by UK governing bodies such as: The Guild of Beauty Therapists (GBT), the Guild of Holistic Therapists (GHT) and The International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT). Insurance can also be obtained for the UK via Towergate Insurance and Westminster Indemnity. You will be able to practice as a self-employed therapist or mobile therapist. Always check with your potential employer (or local council) to ensure that this Diploma will be accepted by them.
Stage 3 This stage is all about becoming familiar with the new symbols that we cover on the Master course. Firstly you will receive a distant Master attunement. Then you will learn to become familiar with the characteristic energies of the two ‘Master’ symbols, and some other symbols, and you will learn how to use the symbols in practice. Finally you will learn how you can, with time, move beyond the symbols to access their energies direct. It will take about 10 hours to carry out these various tasks, over 10 days.

To learn Reiki is to awaken spiritually and to embark on a journey of holistic healing - of both yourself and of others around you. Reiki promotes holistic healing as it helps to bring positive change across the whole of your life - on the emotional, mental and spiritual levels, as well as the physical level. Choosing to connect to Reiki, or Universal Spiritual energy, is choosing to connect to yourself on a deeper level and ultimately reveals the interconnectedness or Oneness of all things.  
The duration of a Reiki treatment depends on the magnitude of the problem. For small problems like common colds, fever, sinusitis, etc, between 4 to 7 days is recommended. For long standing or chronic problems like skin diseases, allergies, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, etc, a minimum of 21 days healing is suggested, and if needed, another 21 days of healing after 3 months.

In addition, be sure to ask about the Reiki master's teaching experience and classes (scheduling, fee, etc). And finally, ask what opportunities the Reiki master offers for continued mentoring and group practice. Choose your Reiki master carefully, looking not only for a teacher who has the qualifications you want, but also for one with whom you feel a rapport.

Receiving attunements/reiju: Students are more or less sensitive to energy, especially as a beginner Reiki student, and will often feel and notice physical, mental, and emotional sensations during the attunement more easily with their Reiki teacher right in front of them performing the attunement. (It also helps their linear mind to trust that something is happening!)

The first three levels of Reiki can be taken for certificates and the status of Reiki Master/Teacher.  Should the student wish to receive their Registered Integrative Therapist designation, they must then complete the more extensive trainings. Should they already be a Reiki practitioner or teacher and wish to receive their R.I.N. designation, some exemptions can be provided to gain advanced standing in our program. 
The Reiki Master Level is the Teacher's Level - you, a Reiki Practitioner, receive the energetic and practical knowledge which allows you to attune others to Reiki. Many Reiki Master students may decide not to teach, however, by undertaking a Reiki Master Course you are also furthering your commitment to Reiki as a spiritual practice to assist you in your healing, growth and development. For this reason an ample amount of time should pass between Reiki 2 and this course. 

I loved Master Melissa’s Reiki Master course. Having done the Basic Reiki and then Reiki II in person at weekend workshops some years ago, I had realized that I had missing information, sometimes there is a lot to take in. It was when I decided to do my Reiki Master Certification that I wanted to be able to take my time, fill in the gaps and take in more information, breath the energy, after all I see my responsibility of working with healing energy to be delivered in a way that as a practitioner I have the knowledge and opportunity to not only have a Master that is coming from a space of love and compassion but who can also deliver the true theme of Reiki and its history and its attunements, this course had this and more, I loved the added crystal and animal chakra information, journeying through this Reiki Master course also gave me the opportunity to grow into the Master Reiki, universal life force Practitioner I dreamed I am to be. With this course I was able to spend time with the symbols, fine tune and observe the energy and my hands and the positions, listen to my intuition and practice letting go of the intention, so as not to drain my own energy or let my force try to direct. Elizabeth's Reiki and Metamorphic Technique courses have been accredited by IPTI (Independent Professional Therapists International) which means that on completion of the training you can be insured through IPTI as a practitioner, Master Practitioner or Master teacher. She is also a teacher member of The UK Reiki Federation and registered with the International Centre for Reiki Training (ICRT) and  Master Teacher for the Diana Cooper Foundation.
